Nakia Resort & Dive’s Cliffhouse Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner daily, overlooking the pool and Somosomo Strait. The Cliffhouse features tropical fruit drinks, seafood, local beef, lamb and chicken, and produce from Nakia’s own organic garden. We pick produce and bake breads, cookies and cakes daily.
Our menu includes Pacific-rim, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Fijian and Northern California specialties, depending on availability of fresh fish, meats and seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs. Every meal includes vegetarian options. We love to cook, grill and bake and gladly will make special meals, dishes or beverages to order – if you want it, we will try our best to make it! For example, if you like tea or coffee early in the morning, ask for a thermos with your preferred beverage for the following morning.
Guest can choose our meal plan or order from the menu on a per-meal basis.. Nakia’s meal plan includes three meals a day from our regular menu plus complimentary afteroon tea with cookies or cake. The cost for adults is US$60 per day and US$40 per day for children (ages 6-12) plus government tax of 9%. Guests dining without the meal plan can expect to pay about 10% more for three meals and afternoon tea.
There are several small restaurants on Taveuni, and many resorts include a restaurant. We will be happy to recommend places to dine, to meet your tastes and interests.
