Most guests arrive via Nadi International Airport, then transfer by domestic flight or boat. Fiji’s International Airport at Nadi hosts daily direct flights from Sydney (4 hours), Auckland (3 hours), Honolulu (6 hours), Los Angeles (10 hours), and other world-wide locations. Flights from Nadi to Taveuni Island take about 70 minutes. We do not book flights, however you can easily book this yourself on the Fiji Airways website 

Yes we included Taveuni airport transfers – 15 mins each way – in our room rates.

Check-in is 2 PM. Check-out is 10 AM. Our Team do their best to ensure your room is ready when you arrive and offer a late check out – dependant on our Guests movements. We offer a guaranteed early check in or late check out for US$200 per room

Yes. All rooms are air conditioned.

Yes, daily servicing is standard.

Meals are not included in the nightly room rate, however we offer a Meal Plan for US$90 pp per day and includes full cooked breakfast, 1 course lunch and 3 course dinner + Fiji taxes. If you do not wish to take a Meal Plan, you may order from our Cliffhouse Restaurant Menu on an A la carte basis and Restaurant charges will be charged to your room account to pay on check out.

Yes. All meals at our Cliffhouse Restaurant are made-to-order. We serve fresh organic fruits, vegetables and herbs from our own garden and can accommodate almost any special diet. We have a separate Vegetarian Menu and we cater to many and varied diets – GF, DF, Vegan and other special requests. Advise us prior to arrival of your special requests.

Yes. Our water comes from a nearby freshwater spring and is filtered on site at Nakia. The tap water is safe and clean and tastes good.

So much to do…scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, fishing, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, SUP-ing, bike riding, cultural tours, relax with a massage… Also check the Taveuni Tourism Association website for more ideas 

Yes. Nakia is a family-owned and operated resort. We enjoy preparing meals for children of all ages and we can provide a child care service for an additional fee. We have Family Rooms for families of all sizes.

Yes, we offer a laundry service for FJ$40 per basket. This service is a next-day-service as we wash and line dry all laundry items. This service allows you to pack light.

Yes, we now offer FREE Starlink wifi throughout the Resort and in room, for your enjoyment.

Is there mobile coverage?

Vodafone works best while staying at the Resort.

Our complimentary (free) activities include kayaking, beach snorkeling, SUP’s (Stand Up Paddle Boards), bike riding, garden and farm tour, coconut lesson and kava night. We also offer a selection of paid Tours of the Island featuring hiking to waterfalls, birds watching tours, Island Massage, snorkeling and diving on Rainbow Reef, surfing and fishing. We ask that you contact Taveuni Ocean Sports to pre book your snorkel and dive tours – don’t miss out as they fill up fast!

Where do I find your rates and prices?

Click here to find our room rates and package rates. We own and operate Taveuni Ocean Sports nearby and you can book your watersports with our Reservations Team at the Dive Shop – dive@taveunioceansports.com 

We accept:
● Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) – 4% Admin Fee is applied to each CC transaction
● Cash (FJD, USD, AUD)

Only if you are heading out of the Resort for the day. We can exchange your Foreign Currency to Fiji Dollars at the Front Desk.

Yes, we place all charges onto your Room Account to be paid on Check out. You do not need cash unless you wish to pay your Room Account on check out.

Contact us via email – info@nakiafiji.com or Whatsapp +679 9228755 and then book your International and Domestic flights to Taveuni and your Credit Card details. No pre-payment, no deposit is required and we will contact you to obtain your Credit Card details which are held on file only, as guarantee of your booking. If you need to cancel your booking, contact us as early as possible so that we may be able to accommodate other travellers.
