Beautiful bures with sea view
Nakia Resort & Dive is extraordinarily appealing to nature lovers, families and divers. The resort occupies ten spectacular acres of tropical gardens, surrounded by forest, with an ocean view unrivaled anywhere in the world. Nakia’s pristine setting is located between the two small towns on Taveuni with the island’s other resorts and shops. This rural location means that Nakia’s Guests fully experience nature in a serene and expansive setting of exceptional beauty. Yet Taveuni’s towns and hidden beaches are just a short bike ride away, using the resort’s complimentary deluxe mountain bikes.
Nakia is intimate and private with just five bures (Fijian cottages). Each bure has a sun deck, deck chairs and table, overlooking the Somosomo Strait and Rainbow Reef. All Bures have in room safe / lock box, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, 24-hour 240 volt power, daily maid service and ample beach and bath towels. They are furnished with elevated ceilings with fans, cool tile floors, comfortable locally–made furnishings, premium mattresses, side tables and chairs, ample closet space, a refrigerator, locally-crafted, decorative mats, fabrics and wood carvings and fresh tropical flowers

The three standard bures – Sunset, Forest and Garden – are suitable for a couple and child or couple + 1 adult with each bure having 1 x queen bed and 1 x single bed.
The Somosomo Bure has two bedrooms and two baths with an outdoor rock shower, sleeping two to eight people in 2 x king size beds, 1 x queen bed, and 1 x double bed.
Nakia is the only resort on Taveuni with family-operated diving, snorkeling and adventures programs, offered through Taveuni Ocean Sports at Nakia. In addition to priority bookings at Taveuni Ocean Sports, your stay at Nakia includes complimentary use of the resort’s facilities and equipment (a 12–meter fresh water swimming pool, kayaks, deluxe mountain bikes, games) and roundtrip transfers between Nakia and Taveuni’s airport at Matei or the ferry dock. Check-in is 12 noon and check–out is 10 a.m., but we do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs..

The rates includes accommodation in an air conditioned room, return Taveuni airport transfers and a selection of complimentary activities to ensure you enjoy your stay with us – beach snorkeling, kayaking, bike riding, guided garden and farm tour.
Add on a Meal Plan during your stay for US$80 per adult / US$60 per child (5-12) per day to enjoy full cooked breakfast, 1 course lunch or Picnic lunch, Afternoon Tea and 3 course dinner. All of our meals feature fresh ingredients from our organic farm on site.
